1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms are an agreement between you and RoofMatch, doing business as RoofMatch. They govern your use of the website and matching service. By using the website or submitting a request, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 and authorized to request work for the property.

2. The service

We use the information you provide to look for one roofer who may fit your location and job. We may be paid for an introduction. A match is advertising and a potential introduction, not a recommendation, endorsement, ranking, inspection, estimate, or guarantee of a roofer's qualifications.

3. Independent roofers

Roofers are independent third parties, not our employees, agents, or partners. We do not control their availability, advice, inspections, estimates, prices, financing, contracts, schedules, permits, safety practices, employees, workmanship, warranties, or customer service. Any agreement for roofing work is solely between you and the roofer.

4. Your due diligence

Before authorizing work or payment, verify licensing, insurance, references, complaint history, permits, scope, materials, ventilation, decking assumptions, payment schedule, lien rights, warranties, cleanup, change orders, and the complete contract. You decide whether to hire a roofer.

5. No estimates or guarantees from us

Form answers, scores, photos, and website content are preliminary. We do not guarantee a match, response, availability, inspection result, price, insurance coverage, schedule, safety, workmanship, or outcome. A roofer may need an on-site inspection before giving advice or a final estimate.

6. Safety and emergencies

Do not climb onto a roof or enter an unsafe area to take photos. Do not use this form for fire, structural collapse, active electrical hazards, severe flooding, or other immediate danger. Call 911 or the appropriate local emergency service. Take reasonable steps to protect people and property without putting yourself at risk.

7. Insurance claims

We do not interpret insurance coverage, negotiate claims, or provide adjusting, legal, or coverage advice. A roofer's observations do not bind an insurer. Review your policy and communicate directly with the insurer or a properly licensed professional about a claim. Do not sign an assignment, financing document, or repair contract without understanding it.

8. Contact permission

When you affirmatively check the consent box and submit, you ask RoofMatch and one roofer matched to your request to contact you using the method you selected about that job. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of buying services. This request does not authorize artificial- or prerecorded-voice calls or automated marketing texts; a caller must obtain any additional consent required by law. You may revoke permission for future communications, including by replying STOP to texts when available.

9. Your information and photos

You represent that your submission is accurate, concerns you or a property you may act for, and may lawfully be used for this purpose. Do not submit another person's contact information or image without permission. Do not upload illegal, misleading, unrelated, or sensitive content.

You retain ownership of photos you upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive right to host, copy, process, and disclose them to service providers and the matched roofer only as reasonably needed to operate the service, protect it, and comply with law.

10. Acceptable use

You may not impersonate another person; submit false, abusive, or automated requests; scrape, resell, reverse engineer, overload, or interfere with the service; bypass security; introduce malicious code; or violate law or another person's rights.

11. Intellectual property and availability

The website, branding, text, graphics, software, and other content are owned by RoofMatch or its licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license for personal use of the matching service. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the service. Third-party sites are governed by their own terms and policies.

12. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and service are provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties, including accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so they may not apply to you.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RoofMatch will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost data or profits, property damage, personal injury, or damages arising from a roofer's acts, omissions, advice, services, or contract. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Changes, severability, and entire agreement

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and date. Changes apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains effective. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement regarding use of the website.
